Hi friend and welcome to Word Garden Studio - a creative small business based in the Triad area of North Carolina.My creative journey started when I was a child; but like many people, I thought art was something I outgrew as I entered adulthood - So eventually I got a "real" job as a speech-language pathologist. Three children and a career change later to stay-at-home mom/homeschool teacher and I re-discovered my love for art. I found that creating filled me with life and energy in a time when those two things were in short supply!As I get older and the world changes, I find myself drawn to simpler ways of life and making cards that bring joy and encouragement to others. One of my favorite gifts is to send a simple card with a handwritten message inside. (I still re-visit some I received decades ago!)Hopefully here you'll find a space to express exactly the sentiment you feel in your heart in the form of a card.
